Agreement on social cooperation at the Davtashen territorial level

This announcement invites cooperation to the territorial subdivisions of the republican bodies of state administration and territorial administration, local self-government bodies operating in the Davtashen administrative district in the city of Yerevan, state and municipal organizations operating in the field of social protection, and other organizations providing social services, as well as individuals who, by joining the social cooperation agreement, express their consent to act in accordance with the objectives of the agreement and the principles of social support and to make their best efforts to implement the provisions enshrined in the agreement and in the Law of the Republic of Armenia "On Social Support": The goals and objectives of the agreement are to ensure interaction in the process of providing social services, increase the effectiveness of providing integrated social services, identify factors causing the need for social support, protect the legal interests of a person (family) in a difficult life situation, strengthen social cohesion, rapid response in emergency situations, reduce the economic and social vulnerability of poor, socially disadvantaged, and isolated groups, increase the role and importance of social work, create an atmosphere of trust, social solidarity, identify existing problems in the field of social protection in the region, and ensure a participatory process: In order to coordinate the work of implementing social cooperation, the Parties form a coordinating council: The council must include one representative from each territorial body providing social services operating in the region, as well as representatives of organizations providing social services and individuals: The council operates for a period of 2 years: The announcement of the territorial body on the formation of the individual composition of the council is published on the official website of Yerevan City Hall: The requirements for organizations providing social services and individuals defined by law are published in the announcement of the territorial body on the formation of the individual composition of the council: The minimum requirements for registration are experience in the field of social support and the implementation of social service provision programs: Within five working days after the deadline specified in the announcement on the formation of the individual composition of the council, the territorial body submits the data to the Mayor of Yerevan for the purpose of approving the individual composition of the council: If the number of organizations and individuals registered to become members of the council is more than five, the Mayor of Yerevan gives priority to the organization or individual that has more experience in the field of social support for a longer period of time and/or has implemented (is implementing) a larger number of social service provision programs: The composition of the council may be reviewed earlier in case of withdrawal of a member organization or individual from the council membership or in case of a reasoned opinion of the chairman of the council and/or the territorial body: The chairman of the council or the territorial body submits the reasoned opinion on the review of the individual composition of the council to the department responsible for social issues of Yerevan City Hall: The department discusses the issue with the organization or individual: The organization may nominate another candidate for council membership: The department submits the change in the individual composition of the council to the Mayor of Yerevan for approval: A member organization or individual of the council may withdraw from the council membership at any time and on their own initiative by notifying the department in writing: The Parties have the right to receive information about ongoing programs, expect immediate assistance in solving the problems of a person (family) in emergency situations, submit proposals for improving the process of providing social services, participate in the development, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of local social programs, join the agreement adopted at the national level of social cooperation, register for inclusion in the council, submit a proposal to include an issue in the agenda of the council
