"Pumpkin Day" annual competition at Yerevan Zoo

On November 15, at 12:00, the annual "Pumpkin Day" competition will be held at Yerevan Zoo, organized by the Foundation for the Preservation of Wildlife and Cultural Assets (FPWC). Children aged 5-15 can participate in teams, who will prepare dishes using pumpkins, fruits and vegetables, feed the animals and expand their knowledge about their diet. The competition has three categories: "Most Innovative Design", "Best Idea" and "Most Delicious Dish". There are safety rules for participation, which prohibit the use of packaged food, sharp objects and plastic materials. Admission to the zoo is free for children under 16 and pensioners over 70. The event is part of an environmental education project, the goal of which is to form a responsible attitude towards animals and the environment among children.
