Accreditation of journalists covering the activities of the Council of Elders of the City of Yerevan and Yerevan City Hall
Pursuant to the RA Law "On Mass Media" and the decision of the RA Government, the Information and Public Relations Department of the Yerevan City Hall Staff has started the accreditation of journalists covering the activities of Yerevan City Hall and the Council of Elders of the City of Yerevan in 2015. To be accredited, it is necessary to submit a written application stating the details of the legal entity or individual, the journalist's details, the name of the media outlet, email addresses, phone numbers, and one photograph. For journalists of foreign media outlets, a copy of the certificate issued by the RA Ministry of Foreign Affairs is also required. Accreditation is carried out for a period of one year, and applications must be submitted by December 30.

- To be accredited, it is necessary to submit a written application, which must include: a. the full name, organizational and legal form, and location of the legal entity carrying out journalistic activities, or if the entity carrying out journalistic activities is an individual, their surname, first name, patronymic (if the patronymic is indicated in the passport) and place of residence (address); b. the surname, first name, patronymic (if the patronymic is indicated in the passport) of the journalist being submitted for accreditation, according to the passport; c. the name(s) of the media outlet(s) represented by the journalist; d. the email addresses, phone numbers, and fax numbers (if any) of the entity carrying out journalistic activities and the journalist, and one photograph (3x4 size). For the accreditation of a journalist representing a media outlet operating under the legislation of a foreign state, a copy of the certificate of accreditation of the journalist in the Republic of Armenia issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia must also be submitted with the application, and the original is presented by the journalist. For the accreditation of a journalist representing a media outlet operating under the legislation of a foreign state in a state body, accreditation in the Republic of Armenia is not required if a separate subdivision of that media outlet operates in the territory of the Republic of Armenia in the prescribed manner, through which the issue of the journalist's accreditation has been raised. Accreditation is carried out for a period of one year, and in case a shorter period is indicated in the application of the media outlet, for that period. No more than 2 journalists and 2 photographers or 2 video operators representing each media outlet are subject to accreditation. Applications submitted late, after December 30 of this year, will not be processed.
