Yerevan City Hall will hold festive concert programs in Republic Square from December 31 to January 6. On December 31, concerts will be held with the participation of children's ensembles, dance groups, fairy tale heroes, and in the evening, performances by pop singers, ending with magnificent fireworks. From January 1-6, daytime events will be held with the participation of fairy tale heroes, and in the evening, discos organized by DJs. Festive events have started in Azatutyan Square on December 6 and will continue until January 6. Festive figure skating and hockey programs will be held at Swan Lake.

Within the framework of the "Erebuni-Yerevan" celebration, Yerevan City Hall announces a photo contest entitled "My Yerevan". Children under 18 years of age can participate in the contest. Those wishing to participate in the contest can submit photos from August 20 to September 25. Prizes are set for the winners.

Yerevan City Hall will hold the "Victorious Sounds" festival on May 9, from 15:00 to 18:00. The event is dedicated to the 65th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War. The festival will take place in five sections of the capital: Northern Avenue, the "Cascade" complex, Aznavour Square, the intersection of Mashtots Avenue and Buzand Street, as well as the area adjacent to the House of Chamber Music.

On January 29, 2010, the delegation headed by the Mayor of Moscow, Yu. Luzhkov, will pay an official visit to Yerevan. During the visit, meetings are planned at Yerevan City Hall, the signing of an agreement, an exchange of gifts, and a meeting with journalists. A visit to the Noragyugh district and the House of Moscow is also planned.
