Change in traffic organization on Tigran Petrosyan Street

Yerevan City Hall informs that from December 5, a change in traffic organization will be made on Tigran Petrosyan Street. Traffic from Sasna Tsrer Street roundabout to Yeghvard Highway will be organized with two lanes, and the opposite direction with one lane. At the intersection of Tigran Petrosyan-Pirumyanner streets, a lane will be allocated for a left turn from Tigran Petrosyan Street to Yeghvard Highway.

Traffic management change at the intersection of Mashtots Avenue - Amiryan Street

It is announced that from December 2 of this year, a test of traffic management changes will be carried out at the intersection of Mashtots Avenue - Amiryan Street, which will last for 2 days. In particular, on Mashtots Avenue, in the direction coming from Pushkin Street, instead of the former "only left" allowed traffic from the third traffic lane, traffic will be allowed in the "straight and left" directions. At the same time, when making a left turn from Mashtots Avenue, it is necessary to yield to vehicles moving in the opposite direction on Mashtots Avenue, as well as when making a left turn from Amiryan Street, it is necessary to yield to vehicles moving in the opposite direction. In parallel, U-turns from Amiryan Street will be prohibited. Works on the installation of appropriate road signs will be carried out at the mentioned intersection.

The article informs that from November 30, 2024, traffic management will be changed at the intersection of D. Anhaght – Ulnetsi streets to increase the passability of traffic flows. In particular, traffic on Ulnetsi street will be allowed in the "straight and right", "straight and left" directions from the direction coming from Babayan street. The additional right section will be dismantled and appropriate marking and road sign installation works will be carried out.

Considering that traffic from Myasnikyan Avenue to Abovyan Park is allowed only through Sharimanyan Street, but it is not possible to ensure control over the implemented change, therefore, rubber bollards will be installed at the intersection of Myasnikyan and Saralanj avenues from November 22. Rubber bollards will also be installed on Heratsi Street at the fork of the tunnel leading to Koryun Street and Khanjyan Street. We urge you to rearrange in advance into the first and second traffic lanes when driving from Heratsi Street to Koryun and Charents streets, so that traffic jams do not occur on Heratsi Street and Myasnikyan Avenue.

From October 25, the traffic light installed at the Isakov Avenue-American Street intersection will operate in "pedestrian call" mode to increase traffic flow capacity. Pedestrians should press the button and wait 2-3 minutes for the "green" signal.

From October 23, traffic management will be changed on Isahakyan Street: parking will be prohibited on the right side of the roadway in the direction from Nalbandyan Street to Abovyan Street. This is being done to increase the throughput of transport flows in the capital.

From October 17, traffic organization will be changed at the intersection of Yerevanian and Gasparyan streets: instead of the previously permitted traffic directions "straight, right", "straight, left" from the direction of Ejmiatsin highway, traffic will be permitted in the "straight and right", "straight only" directions. Corresponding markings will be made and road signs will be installed.

From October 16, traffic arrangements will be changed on Sharimanyan Street to prohibit parking on the right side of the roadway from Heratsi Street to Abovyan Park. Appropriate markings will be made and road signs will be installed.

From October 12, traffic management will be changed at the intersection of Davit Anhaght and Ulnetzi streets to increase the throughput of traffic flows. Changes will be made in traffic directions, additional sections will be dismantled and new ones will be installed with automatic regulation. Corresponding markings will also be made and road signs will be installed.

From October 11, traffic management will be changed at the intersection of Tigran Mets Avenue - Khanjyan Street to increase the throughput of traffic flows. In particular, traffic on Tigran Mets Avenue will be regulated in the directions "straight and right", "straight", "straight and left", the additional right section will be dismantled, new markings and road signs will be installed.

From October 8, traffic management will be changed at the intersection of Komitas Avenue-N. Tigranyan Street: U-turns will be prohibited on Komitas Avenue in the direction coming from the "Lambada" bridge, in order to increase the passability of traffic flows in the capital.

From October 7, traffic management on Acharyan Street will be changed: parking will be prohibited on the right side of the street from building 32 to the intersection of Acharyan-Babajanyan streets, as well as from building 33/6 to the intersection of Acharyan Street - Acharyan 1st dead end. Corresponding markings and road signs will be installed.

From October 5, an additional right section will be installed at the intersection of Abovyan and Isahakyan streets for vehicles making a right turn, and traffic will be regulated by a traffic light system to increase the throughput of traffic flows.

From October 2, traffic on Isahakyan Street, from Mashtots Avenue to Baghramyan Avenue, will be organized as one-way to increase the throughput of traffic flows. The road section will be marked and appropriate signs will be installed.
