Restrictions on traffic in connection with the events dedicated to the New Year and Christmas holidays in Yerevan city

Traffic will be stopped from December 12 to 15 on the road section of Republic Square between Tigran Mets Avenue and Nalbandyan Street due to the organization of New Year events. Traffic will be stopped in Republic Square on December 14 until the end of the concert. Traffic will be stopped on Khorenatsi and Vazgen Sargsyan streets on December 13 and 14.

The 1st lanes of both traffic directions of Davtashen bridge, from Vagharshyan street to Sasna Tsrer street, will be closed.

Citizens are informed that the 1st lanes of both traffic directions of Yerevan's Davtashen bridge, from Vagharshyan street to Sasna Tsrer street, will be closed from November 29 to 30 inclusive, due to repair works of the last deformation joint. We apologize for any inconvenience.

The Davtashen bridge, from Vagharshyan street to Sasna Tzrer street, will be closed to traffic in both directions

We inform you that due to renovation works, the 2nd lanes in both directions of traffic on the Davtashen bridge, from Vagharshyan street to Sasna Tzrer street, will be closed on November 22-23, 2025.

In Yerevan, due to New Year's festive decoration works, traffic will be temporarily suspended on Abovyan Street, from Pushkin Street to Buzand Street, from November 14, 23:00, until November 15, 06:00.

Citizens are informed that due to renovation works on the Davtashen bridge, from Vagharshyan street towards Sasna Tsrer street, the 3rd lanes of both directions of the roadway will be closed on November 15-16. We apologize for the inconvenience.

On October 11, from 07:00 to 20:00, the roadway in front of Stepan Shahumyan Square (the intersection of Vazgen Sargsyan and Khorenatsi streets) will be closed to traffic for the "Fit Center" cycling competitions and concert program organized within the framework of the "Erebuni-Yerevan 2807" celebration.

Yerevan City Hall informs about traffic restrictions related to the "Erebuni-Yerevan 2807" celebration. The restrictions apply to Republic Square, Tigran Mets Avenue, Nalbandyan Street, Sakharov Square, as well as Teryan and Pushkin Streets adjacent to Northern Avenue. The restrictions will be in effect from October 10 to October 13, at different times.

On September 26, from 18:30 to 21:00, the intersection of Isahakyan-Tamanyan streets will be closed for traffic to organize a national dance training event.

We inform you that the road section from 9th Street of the Nubarashen administrative district to the village of Bardzrashen will be closed from September 19 due to road construction work. As an alternative route, Nubarashen's 11th Street and Jrash-Nubarashen Street will be proposed.

On September 21, on the occasion of Independence Day, the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia will hold festive marches of the RA Armed Forces military bands and demonstration performances by the honor guard company servicemen in Yerevan's Republic Square and Azatutyun Square. Some streets will be closed during the event.

The "Arm Marathon" sports and educational foundation, in cooperation with the Yerevan City Hall's Department of Sports and Youth Affairs, will hold the annual "Yerevan Marathon" running competition on October 4-5. Traffic will be temporarily suspended on the central streets of Yerevan during the competition. Specifically, 1 km and 5 km races will be held on October 4, and 42.2 km, 21.1 km, and 12 km races will be held on October 5.

Public notice: Due to repair works on the bridge section at the intersection of Myasnikyan Avenue and Saralanj Avenue, the second lane of the road leading from Myasnikyan Avenue to Azatutyan Avenue has been closed. The closure will be in effect until August 23, 2025, at 10:00.

Yerevan City Hall informs that due to road construction work, from August 11, from 23:00 to 08:00, the section of Vagharshyan street from the Davtashen bridge to the Vagharshyan-Avetisyan intersection will be closed. Traffic will be carried out on one lane of the oncoming direction. Citizens are asked not to park their cars in the indicated section.

Due to the major renovation works of Vogjaberd canal at 7/5 David Bek Street, from August 13, 2025, at 08:00, the section of David Bek Street from the intersection of Rostovyan Street to the intersection of Nubarashen Street will be closed. Traffic will be carried out at the expense of one traffic lane in the opposite direction. Drivers are urged to observe traffic rules.

On August 5, 2025, from 06:30 to 08:00, the section of the road from M. Mashtots Avenue – Khorenatsi Street – S. Shahumyan Square will be closed to traffic. This is due to the National Youth Forum organized by the Office of the Chief Commissioner of the Diaspora of the Republic of Armenia at the Gabriel Sundukyan National Academic Theater and the adjacent English Park, which will start with a race.

Dear citizens, in order to increase the traffic flow in the capital, a change in traffic organization will be made starting from July 23 of this year. Specifically, on Paronyan Street: from the intersection of Paronyan and Dzoragyugh streets to the intersection of Paronyan and Leo streets, as well as on Abovyan Street: from the intersection of Abovyan Street and Northern Avenue to Republic Square on the right side of the direction, and from the intersection of Abovyan and Buzand streets to Republic Square on the left side of the direction, the stopping of vehicles will be prohibited.

On July 18, the opening ceremony of the statue of Charles Aznavour will take place in Charles Aznavour Square. During the ceremony, from 10:00 to 12:00, the section from the intersection of Abovyan-Tumanyan streets to the intersection of Abovyan-Pushkin streets will be closed.

On July 13th, from 17:00 to 23:00, the section from Vardanants Street to Republic Street will be temporarily closed to ensure the unimpeded organization of the opening ceremony of the "Golden Apricot" Yerevan International Film Festival.

During the "PREPA RUN" marathon initiated by "Prepa" company, on July 13, from 07:30 to 12:30, a run will be held from "Yerevan" Mall to "Cascade" - about 5 km long. During the run, the open-air parking lot of "Yerevan" Mall, certain sections of Arshakunyats Avenue, Khanjyan, Tumanyan, Saryan, Moskovyan and Tamanyan streets will be closed. The streets will be opened immediately after the participants pass to avoid traffic inconveniences.

On July 4 and 5, traffic will be stopped in several sections of the city during the "TRICOLOR" Yerevan Night Run races held in Yerevan. The initiative is dedicated to the Day of State Symbols of the Republic of Armenia and the Constitution of the Republic of Armenia. Specifically, the following will be closed: 1. On July 4, from 21:00, traffic will be stopped from the section of the "Marriott-Armenia" hotel to the section of Vazgen Sargsyan Street, from where the race will start. From 21:50, traffic will be stopped in Republic Square, from Republic Square to Nalbandyan Street up to the intersection of Nalbandyan-Tumanyan streets, on Tumanyan Street, from the intersection of Tumanyan-Nalbandyan streets to the intersection of Tumanyan-Abovyan streets, from Pushkin Street to Abovyan Street, on Abovyan Street, from the intersection of Abovyan-Tumanyan streets to Republic Square. The race along the above-mentioned route will end at 23:45. 2. On July 5, from 09:00, traffic will be stopped from the section of the "Marriott-Armenia" hotel to the section of Vazgen Sargsyan Street, from where the race will start. From 10:00, traffic in Republic Square and Vazgen Sargsyan Street entirely will be partially stopped. The race along the above-mentioned route will end at 11:30.
