INVITATION TO PUBLIC DISCUSSIONS ON THE DRAFT DECISION OF THE COUNCIL OF ELDERS OF THE CITY OF YEREVAN "ON THE APPROVAL OF THE YEREVAN DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM FOR 2021"

Yerevan City Hall invites interested parties to participate in public discussions on the draft decision of the Council of Elders of the City of Yerevan, which will take place from November 12 to 26, 2020. Participants can submit their proposals and comments until November 26. The public hearings will be held on November 26, at 15:00, in the administrative building of Yerevan City Hall. VMR Developments LLC has submitted a preliminary environmental impact assessment application for the construction of a multi-apartment residential complex planned at Manandyan Street, 41/44. Public discussions will be held on the preliminary environmental impact assessment application for the working design of the animal waste incineration plant planned for installation in the production area of "COMBINED FEED PLANT" CJSC named after Vlad Hakobyan. The discussions will take place on November 6, 2020, at 12:00, at Yerevan, Nubarashen administrative district, Nubarashen 9th street, building 4. Public discussions will be held on October 30, 2020, at 10:30 AM, at the residence of the head of Davtashen administrative district of Yerevan city, regarding the preliminary environmental impact assessment application for the construction of a multi-apartment residential building planned by "HAEK Shinutyun" CJSC at Davtashen 10th Street, h.15/4. Public discussions will be held on November 4, 2020, at 11:00 AM, at the residence of the head of Malatia-Sebastia administrative district, at 32 Sebastia Street. The subject of discussion is the preliminary environmental impact assessment application for the construction of a residential complex planned at 27/7 Leningradian Street, Malatia-Sebastia administrative district, submitted by citizen Grigori Harutyunyan. On November 3, 2020, at 11:00 AM, a public discussion will be held at 32 Sebastia Street (in the building of the Malatia-Sebastia regional administration). The subject of the discussion is the application for the preliminary environmental impact assessment for the construction of a public facility (shopping center) at addresses 24/8 and 24/5 Ts. Isakov Street in the Malatia-Sebastia administrative district, submitted by Gurgen Simonyan. The "Green Skills for Youth" program, financed by the UNDP-GEF Small Grants Program, announces a competition for implementing energy efficiency improvement works in schools and organizing courses. The goal of the program is to raise awareness about climate change, involve schoolchildren in assessing energy use through "green" technologies and in energy efficiency improvement works. To participate in the competition, it is necessary to submit a number of documents, and the deadline for accepting applications is 30.10.2020.
