Traffic will be restricted on streets entering Republic Square

Starting from 16:00 on June 5, traffic on streets entering Republic Square will be restricted due to a rally to be held in the square.

On holding the "4th Yerevan International Ballet Festival"

From June 2, the "4th Yerevan International Ballet Festival" starts. On the days of the festival, after the performances, free bus routes will operate from Tumanyan Park stop to "Barekamutyun" and "Zoravar Andranik" metro stations.

On June 1, in anticipation of the International Children's Day, traffic will be suspended from 11:30 to 19:00 in the sections of Teryan and Pushkin streets adjacent to Northern Avenue.

On May 27, from 7:00 to 12:00, the streets adjacent to Republic Square will be closed: Zakyan-Amiryan, Abovyan-Arami, Nalbandyan-Sakharov Square, Melik-Adamyan-Tigran Mets-Agatangeghos intersection, Beirut-Grigor Lusavorich, Italia-Grigor Lusavorich, Khorenatsi-Beirut, Khorenatsi-Agatangeghos, Agatangeghos entirely, Vazgen Sargsyan-Republic Square road sections.

From May 31, 24:00, until June 1, 23:00, traffic will be restricted in Ajapnyak administrative district, in Chavush Square, specifically on Bashinjaghyan, Mazmanyan and Beknazaryan streets, due to the events of June 1.

In parallel with their holding, temporary traffic restrictions will be established in the vicinity of Republic Square and on Amiryan Street. Drivers are urged to plan their routes in advance and follow the police instructions.

From May 16, 2026, two-way traffic on the road leading from Myasnikyan Avenue to Emil Dilanian Street of the Nork-Marash administrative district and Nork's 1st lane will be stopped for the purpose of installing new engineering infrastructures and carrying out construction work for the major repair of the road.

On May 1, in connection with the festive events (parade and concert) dedicated to Labor Day, from midnight on 30.04.2026, Republic Square and adjacent streets will be closed for traffic and parking. During the events, balloon and helicopter flights and daytime fireworks are planned.

During the events dedicated to the International Dance Day organized in Yerevan on April 29, traffic will be prohibited in the Republic Square roundabout from 14:00 to 17:30. The intersections of Amiryan-Zakyan, Arami-Abovyan, Arami-Nalbandyan, Tigran Mets Ave.-Melik Adamyan streets, as well as Vazgen Sargsyan Street (starting from Deghatun Street) will be closed.
