The fourth festival of Armenian cuisine "Hamov-hotov Yerevan" will be held in the capital

The 4th festival of Armenian cuisine "Hamov-hotov Yerevan" will be held on June 10, 2018, from 17:00 to 21:00, in the park next to the "Republic Square" metro station. The festival is organized by Yerevan City Hall and the NGO "Preservation of Armenian Culinary Traditions Development" within the framework of the "Yerevan Summer 2018" program. Visitors will have the opportunity to taste traditional Armenian dishes presented by various restaurants and 13 pavilions.

Route change: for bus route number 12

Citizens are informed that from June 2, 2018, bus route number 12 will be serviced with a changed route: Halabyan Street – Yeghvard Highway – Pirumyan Street – Tigran Petrosyan Street – Zovuni village. The return will be on the same route. We apologize for the inconvenience caused.

On June 2, at 11:00, the seasonal agricultural products fair will reopen in the area adjacent to Kasyan Street in the Arabkir administrative district. Farmers from the regions of the Republic of Armenia will be able to sell their products at the fair. The program is implemented in cooperation with Yerevan City Hall and the RA Ministry of Agriculture.

On June 2, from 13:00 to 15:30, the road section from the bridge near the "Princess Marianna" restaurant in Hrazdan Gorge to Papazyan street will be closed for traffic for the purpose of holding a cycling race organized by the EU delegation within the framework of the "Europe Day-2018" events.

On May 25, at 17:00, an exhibition of Russian painter Alexei Khvostov dedicated to the 2800th anniversary of Yerevan's foundation will open at the "Hay-Art" Cultural Center. The exhibition will run until May 30.

Traffic will be suspended for one month from May 20 in the direction from Mashtots Avenue to Victory Bridge due to renovation works of the Mashtots Avenue-Gr. Lusavorich Street transport hub. Two-way traffic will be organized in the underground part of the hub, in the direction from Victory Bridge to Mashtots Avenue. Drivers of light passenger cars are advised to drive along Mashtots Avenue-Saryan-Leo-Paronyan streets or Mashtots Avenue-M. Khorenatsi-Zakyan (Italy) bypass roads.

On April 24, 2018, in connection with the Armenian Genocide Remembrance Day, free transport services will be organized for visitors to the Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Complex. Yerevan City Hall and the National Cinema Center of Armenia announce "My Yerevan" short fiction film competition dedicated to the 2800th anniversary of Yerevan's foundation. Students can participate in the competition, films can be shot with both professional and amateur cameras. Prizes have been set: 1,000,000, 500,000 and 300,000 drams. A series of films "My Yerevan" will be created from the best films. Films are accepted until July 15, the jury will summarize until September 1. The main prize winner will be given the opportunity to shoot a debut film. Works are submitted to the National Cinema Center of Armenia.
