On January 13, 2018, at 19:00, the final concert of the "New Year in Yerevan 2018" events program, titled "My Old and New Year", will take place in Azatutyan Square, Yerevan. Famous singers will perform at the concert. Everyone is invited to participate in the festive program.

Within the framework of the "New Year in Yerevan 2018" program, on January 3, 2018, starting from 12:00, festive events will be organized in all administrative districts of Yerevan: concerts, games, children's platforms. Everyone is invited to participate.

On December 19, at 19:30, the solemn ceremony of switching on the main Christmas tree of the capital, the Christmas trees of the administrative districts, as well as the festive lights, will take place in Republic Square. The event will also include a concert program with the participation of famous singers, dance ensembles, as well as students of music and art schools.

From December 19 to 26, Yerevan City Hall will hold an “Open Doors Day” healthcare campaign with the participation of leading doctors of the capital and chief specialists of Yerevan. Within the framework of the campaign, citizens will be able to be examined and receive consultations from various specialists: surgeon, urologist, gastroenterologist, gynecologist, otolaryngologist, neurologist, cardiologist. The event will be held in the mentioned medical institutions according to a specific schedule. If necessary, citizens will be referred for inpatient treatment.

Yerevan City Hall announces the "Best New Year Decoration 2018" contest to complete the festive mood of the capital and increase its attractiveness. Commercial organizations, enterprises, public organizations, as well as individual citizens can participate in the contest by presenting their New Year decorations. The results of the contest will be published and the award ceremony will take place in January 2018.

The second outdoor advertising festival will be held in Yerevan from November 21-26, 2017. The purpose of the event is to promote the development of the advertising industry and introduce the best international experience. Master classes and professional conferences will be held within the framework of the festival, and the best advertising samples will be awarded. The opening of the festival will take place on November 21 at 19:00 in the National Gallery of Armenia.

On November 11, a city-wide tree-planting and clean-up day will be held in Yerevan, during which various types of trees and shrubs will be planted, the courtyards, gardens, parks, public buildings and adjacent areas of the capital will be brought to proper condition. Representatives of the staff of Yerevan City Hall and administrative districts, subordinate structures, state and private organizations, educational institutions and public organizations will take part. On October 27, at 16:00, the first "Climathon Yerevan" hackathon will be held in the lobby of the Yerevan City Hall, which aims to develop innovative solutions to improve the environmental and energy management of the capital. More than 40 programmers, data analysis specialists, young scientists and innovators will participate in the event, which is organized by the "Sustainable Energy Development Fund" with the support of the Yerevan City Hall. The results of the hackathon will be summarized on October 28, at 16:00.

On October 21, at 11:00, the two-day "Smart City" hackathon will kick off at Yerevan City Hall, which is a joint initiative of Yerevan City Hall, the European Union, and the UN Development Program. During the event, specialists will develop smart solutions in the areas of city management, tourism development, and city cleanliness. On October 22, the best solutions will be presented, which will receive financial support.

On October 21, a city-wide clean-up day will be held in Yerevan within the framework of the RA Government's "Clean Armenia" program. Participants will take part in the improvement of courtyards, parks, public buildings and areas adjacent to roads in the capital. Participants will be provided with the necessary supplies.

The event "Balloon Flights with Night Illumination" scheduled for October 15th is postponed to October 14th, from 19:30 to 22:00, due to unfavorable weather conditions. During the event, the official opening of the festival, balloon flights, and a concert program will take place. Limited-altitude flights with night illumination will be organized in Republic Square, in which citizens will also participate.

On October 10, at 12:00, a press conference will be held at Yerevan City Hall, where the details of the international aeronautics festival to be held under the "Erebuni-Yerevan 2799" program will be presented. On October 15, Yerevan City Hall, in cooperation with the "Return to Armenia" foundation, will hold the "Yerevan Half Marathon". The goals of the competition are to promote a healthy lifestyle, develop sports tourism and strengthen the connection of Diaspora Armenian athletes with their homeland. The competition will start at 09:00 from Shahumyan Square and will end at 13:30, covering a distance of 21.1 km. Participants will compete in different age groups in 21.1 km, 10 km, 5 km and 1 km distances. Winners will receive cash prizes, and all participants will receive T-shirts and medals. The event also has a charitable component, supporting four charitable programs. To participate, it is necessary to register in advance on the website www.yerevan21.am.

Dear fellow citizens, ahead of Independence Day, a city-wide clean-up day will be held in Yerevan on September 16, during which the courtyards, parks and gardens of the capital, as well as public buildings and areas adjacent to roads will be brought to a proper appearance. Employees of Yerevan City Hall and administrative districts, institutions subordinate to the City Hall, state and private organizations, representatives of educational institutions and public organizations will be involved in the city-wide clean-up day.
