Competition for the creation of a bust in the park named after Misak Manushyan

A competition is announced for the installation of a bust in the park named after Misak Manushyan. Within the framework of the competition, submitted models will be evaluated, and the winner will be awarded a cash prize. The deadline for submitting applications for the first stage of the competition is February 28, 2025. The second stage and the announcement of the winners will take place on March 7, 2025. The ceremony for the foundation stone of the monument is scheduled for September 1, 2025.

From October 30 to November 8, from 08:00 to 20:00, repair works of the deformation joints of the carriageway of the overpass located on Araratyan street will be carried out. The overpass will remain open to traffic during the works.

The tournament "Yerevan City Table Tennis Championship among Journalists" will be held on November 2 at Yerevan City Hall. Representatives of all Armenian media outlets who have been registered with the given media outlet at least two months ago can participate in the tournament. The Sports and Youth Affairs Department of Yerevan City Hall is accepting applications for participation in the award ceremony for the best volunteers of Yerevan community. From October 25 to November 25, from 00:00 to 08:00, the section of Tamantsiner Street - Artashat Highway from the roundabout intersection to the intersection of Tamantsiner Street - Arshakunyats Avenue will be closed phase by phase in one direction due to road construction works. Drivers are advised not to park on the roadway to ensure the efficiency of the works.

From October 25, the traffic light installed at the Isakov Avenue-American Street intersection will operate in "pedestrian call" mode to increase traffic flow capacity. Pedestrians should press the button and wait 2-3 minutes for the "green" signal.

"Veolia Jur" company informs that the water supply in streets 1-13 of the Silikyan neighborhood of the Ajapnyak administrative district of Yerevan will be stopped from October 22, 10:00 to October 23, 10:00 due to construction work within the framework of the Yerevan water supply improvement program. From October 23, traffic management will be changed on Isahakyan Street: parking will be prohibited on the right side of the roadway in the direction from Nalbandyan Street to Abovyan Street. This is being done to increase the throughput of transport flows in the capital.

From October 17, traffic organization will be changed at the intersection of Yerevanian and Gasparyan streets: instead of the previously permitted traffic directions "straight, right", "straight, left" from the direction of Ejmiatsin highway, traffic will be permitted in the "straight and right", "straight only" directions. Corresponding markings will be made and road signs will be installed.

"Veolia Jur" company informs that due to the work on eliminating the accident in the "Arzakan-Yerevan" water pipeline, the water supply will be suspended from October 16 to October 17 in the Arabkir, Ajapnyak, Malatia-Sebastia, Kentron administrative districts of Yerevan, as well as in the Armavir, Ararat and Kotayk regions. From October 16, traffic arrangements will be changed on Sharimanyan Street to prohibit parking on the right side of the roadway from Heratsi Street to Abovyan Park. Appropriate markings will be made and road signs will be installed.

On October 14, from 11:00 to 12:30, a warning siren will be activated at primary school No. 14 in the Kentron administrative district of Yerevan city. The City Hall apologizes to the citizens for any inconvenience caused.

From October 11, traffic management will be changed at the intersection of Tigran Mets Avenue - Khanjyan Street to increase the throughput of traffic flows. In particular, traffic on Tigran Mets Avenue will be regulated in the directions "straight and right", "straight", "straight and left", the additional right section will be dismantled, new markings and road signs will be installed.

From October 11, 12:00 PM until October 12, 9:00 PM, due to the events dedicated to the "Erebuni-Yerevan 2806th Anniversary" celebration, traffic will be suspended in the square in front of the "Erebuni" historical-archaeological reserve-museum. Bus routes No. 18, 38, 56 will be changed, and trolleybus route No. 2 will be suspended.

From October 12, traffic management will be changed at the intersection of Davit Anhaght and Ulnetzi streets to increase the throughput of traffic flows. Changes will be made in traffic directions, additional sections will be dismantled and new ones will be installed with automatic regulation. Corresponding markings will also be made and road signs will be installed.

“Veolia Jur” company informs that on October 7, from 10:00 to 20:00, due to accident elimination works, the water supply to some addresses in Nor Nork and Avan administrative districts of Yerevan, as well as Arinj village of Kotayk region, will be suspended. From October 8, traffic management will be changed at the intersection of Komitas Avenue-N. Tigranyan Street: U-turns will be prohibited on Komitas Avenue in the direction coming from the "Lambada" bridge, in order to increase the passability of traffic flows in the capital.

From October 7, traffic management on Acharyan Street will be changed: parking will be prohibited on the right side of the street from building 32 to the intersection of Acharyan-Babajanyan streets, as well as from building 33/6 to the intersection of Acharyan Street - Acharyan 1st dead end. Corresponding markings and road signs will be installed.

From October 4 to 30, during night hours (23:00-07:00), road construction works will be carried out, during which certain sections of S. Baghdasaryan Street will be closed. Drivers are requested not to park in the mentioned sections during night hours.
