Yerevan City Hall and the Writers' Union of Armenia announce a competition for a play about Yerevan, dedicated to the 2800th anniversary of Yerevan's foundation. All playwrights can participate in the competition. The best play will be staged in Yerevan theaters. Applications are accepted from March 1 to June 1, 2018. Prizes are set in the amount of 800 thousand, 500 thousand and 300 thousand drams.
From March 3, traffic will be suspended for two months at the Mashots Avenue-Gr.Lusavorich Street transport hub for the purpose of reconstructing the drainage system and repairing the tunnel section. The traffic organization scheme will be changed: traffic will be organized in two directions in the underground part of the hub, and traffic from Mashots Avenue towards Victory Bridge will be suspended. In the overground section, traffic will be allowed in all directions, but stopping and parking will be prohibited.
