Yerevan City Hall announces the dismantling of kiosks and pavilions located on the streets, avenues, and other public areas of Yerevan city. Temporary structures that are closed, abandoned, as well as those without state registration or with expired lease terms are subject to dismantling. Mutually acceptable options will be discussed for contracts with unexpired lease terms, and alternative solutions will be offered for socially vulnerable groups.

The Government of the Republic of Armenia has approached the Asian Development Bank (ADB) with a request to provide consultancy services for the detailed design, management, and supervision of construction works for two urban road interchanges for the Urban Sustainable Development Investment Program. Yerevan Municipality (YM) is the implementing agency and acts as the Employer. YM will hire a consultancy firm in accordance with ADB’s Guidelines for the Use of Consultants. The consultancy firm will develop and implement detailed engineering design of works, assistance in preparation of bidding documents, development of safety assurance documents, management of contractual works with contractors, supervision of construction works, acceptance of works, and road safety audit. The works include construction and widening of a 4.8 km road section to at least a 4-lane road. The deadline for submission of Expressions of Interest is August 25, 2011.
