Within the framework of the "Yerevan Summer 2017" program, on July 1, from 19:30 to 23:00, the "Yerevan Rock" concert program will be held in Azatutyan Square. The rock bands "MP Ray", "Nemra", "Rozen Tal" and "Adana" will perform at the concert.

Dear fellow citizens, currently, according to the data of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Armenia, there is a fire-hazardous situation in the green areas of the capital. Taking this into account, burning dry grass is strictly prohibited. We inform you that, due to the unusually high temperature for the month of June, the volumes and frequency of watering of the irrigation water supplied to the general use green areas of Yerevan have increased. In separate sections of the Shengavit, Avan, Nor Nork, Malatia-Sebastia and Kentron administrative districts, irrigation is also carried out with water pumped from deep wells. At the same time, mowing work continues in the lawn and grassy areas of the capital, the owners of the corresponding areas, as well as the lessees of gardens and parks, have been duly informed about the need to accelerate them. It should be noted that the fire-hazardous areas in Yerevan are considered to be the forest zones of the Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Complex, Yerablur, "Pharos", Hrazdan Gorge, Victory and Ring parks. We urge our fellow citizens and guests of the capital to strictly observe the fire safety rules.

The 4th "Talking Toy" children's festival will take place on June 30, from 11:00 to 21:00, in Misak Manushyan Park. The opening will be at 11:00 with a puppet exhibition. Children will be greeted by fairy tale heroes, cartoon characters, and clowns. Surprises await the children during the festival.

Zaruhi Postanjyan, head of the "Yerkir Tsirani" faction of the Council of Elders of Yerevan, and members Marina Khachatryan and Sona Aghekyan are initiating meetings and discussions with Yerevan residents in the 12 administrative districts of Yerevan. The meetings will take place from July 3 to July 19, 2017, from 12:00 to 14:00.

Yerevan City Hall announces an open competition for the design of a monument-obelisk perpetuating the memory of the prominent Armenian state, political and military figure Aram Manukyan. The monument is planned to be installed in the area adjacent to the intersection of Aram and Nalbandyan streets. The winner of the competition will receive the right to implement the monument.

On June 16, 2017, at 11:00, an extraordinary session of the Council of Elders of the City of Yerevan will be convened with the following agenda: 1) 2) 3) 4) 5) 6) 7) Guided by Article 30, Part 1 of the Law of the Republic of Armenia "On Local Self-Government in the City of Yerevan" and Point 115 of the Regulations adopted by Decision N1-Ն of June 18, 2009, of the Council of Elders of the City of Yerevan, by Decision No. 1991-Ա of June 12, 2017, of the Mayor of Yerevan.

On June 9, 2017, at 11:00 AM, the first session of the newly elected Council of Elders of the City of Yerevan will be held in the building of the Yerevan City Hall. Participants will discuss the formation of a temporary counting commission, organizational issues related to the oath-taking ceremony of the Mayor of Yerevan, the formation of permanent commissions, the nomination of chairpersons and their deputies, as well as the determination of the date for convening the regular session.

From June 3 to 5, traffic will be suspended on the section of Teryan Street at the intersection of Aram and Pushkin streets to ensure safety standards during concrete pouring work on the multi-apartment building under construction at Teryan 5.

In accordance with the RA Law and the RA Government Decree, on June 16, 2017, at 15:00, the third public discussions on the Yerevan Green City Action Plan draft and its strategic environmental assessment will take place on the 7th floor of the second building of Yerevan City Hall. Yerevan City Hall informs that the capital's outdoor lighting network is switching to summer operating mode. From now on, streets, courtyards, parks and gardens will be lit until 01:00 at night.

On May 30, 2017, at 11:00, the 4th meeting of the 9th session of the Council of Elders of Yerevan will be convened with the planned agenda.

In accordance with the decision of the Mayor of Yerevan, a schedule for the reception of citizens has been established, which will be carried out by the heads of the structural divisions of the staff of Yerevan City Hall. This is intended to familiarize themselves with the issues concerning the capital's population and to respond quickly to the raised questions. The schedule includes reception days, times, and responsible officials.

Announcement: Due to asphalt paving works, on May 9, from 06:00 to 10:00, the section of Saralanj bypass road from Armenakyan street to Glinka street will be temporarily closed.

Given that May 8 is a non-working day, the Real Estate Management Department of Yerevan City Hall will receive citizens on May 11, from 16:00 to 18:00, and the Communal Services Department on May 12, from 16:00 to 18:00, at Argishti 1.

On May 5, from 21:30 until May 6, 07:00, the one-way road section descending from Myasnikyan Avenue overpass to Heratsi Street will be closed due to asphalt paving works. As an alternative, the roads leading from Rubinyants Street in Kanaker-Zeytun administrative district to the city center are offered.

On April 28, 29, 30, from 22:00 to 07:00 of the following days, the section of Myasnikyan Avenue (from the overpass of Avan administrative district) descending to Heratsi Street will be closed to one-way traffic due to asphalt paving works. For alternative traffic, the roads leading from Rubinyants Street to the city center in Kanaker-Zeytun administrative district are suggested.
