On October 11, 2017, at 11:00 AM, an extraordinary session of the Council of Elders of the City of Yerevan will be convened with an agenda based on the RA Law "On Local Self-Government in the City of Yerevan", the Regulations of the Council of Elders of the City of Yerevan, and the decision of the Mayor of Yerevan.

Dear fellow citizens, ahead of Independence Day, a city-wide clean-up day will be held in Yerevan on September 16, during which the courtyards, parks and gardens of the capital, as well as public buildings and areas adjacent to roads will be brought to a proper appearance. Employees of Yerevan City Hall and administrative districts, institutions subordinate to the City Hall, state and private organizations, representatives of educational institutions and public organizations will be involved in the city-wide clean-up day. Participants will be provided with shovels, gloves, bags and other necessary supplies.

On September 16, from 18:00 to 23:00, traffic will be restricted on Abovyan Street, from Tumanyan Street to Pushkin Street, due to the "Yerevan Musical Night" event planned in Charles Aznavour Square.

Yerevan City Hall informs that from September 1, 17 buses equipped with lifts, intended for people with disabilities with musculoskeletal problems, will operate on routes 14, 20, 22 and 28 of urban public transport. The selection of these routes was agreed with public organizations dealing with the problems of people with disabilities. The staff of Yerevan City Hall announces a competition for the election (appointment) of executive bodies of municipal non-commercial organizations subordinate to the city of Yerevan and closed joint-stock companies with a share owned by the city of Yerevan. To participate in the competition, higher education, at least 2 years of work experience in the last ten years, as well as knowledge of relevant legal acts are required. Documents are accepted at Yerevan City Hall, Argishti 1, until September 26, 2017.

The "Sports Summer" sporting event, during which attendees will witness motocross, cycling and sports car demonstration performances, will take place on August 19, from 18:00 to 22:00, on the newly built road section of Leningradyan-Isakov Avenue in the capital. Everyone is invited to participate.

On August 19, from 18:00 to 23:00, the 4th Yerevan Beer Festival will be held in the area adjacent to Swan Lake. The event aims to develop tourism in the capital and present Armenian beer traditions and innovations. Various breweries and restaurants will participate in the festival. The evening will be accompanied by a concert program, DJ Leo's performance, games and competitions.

The Tourism Department of Yerevan City Hall invites tour coordinators within the framework of the "Yerevan City Tour" program. According to the announcement, candidates must have excellent command of Armenian, English, and Russian languages, as well as work experience as a guide or tour leader, or volunteer experience in the tourism sector. Preference will be given to students and young people. The deadline for applications is August 24.

The "Young Yerevan" DJ contest-festival and disco will be held on August 12, from 20:00 to 23:00, in Azatutyan Square. The event is dedicated to International Youth Day. Everyone is invited to participate.
