From June 22, traffic will be stopped on Tsitsernakaberd Highway due to reconstruction works. Temporary routes will be established for some bus and minibus routes. Until the completion of construction works, the routes will operate from Mashtots Avenue to Admiral Isakov Avenue, through the mentioned streets and bridge.

On June 23, 2010, at 11:00, an extraordinary session of the Council of Elders of the City of Yerevan will be convened. The session will be held at Yerevan City Hall. Three issues are included on the agenda.

Yerevan City Hall congratulates all graduates of the capital on the last bell and invites everyone to Republic Square to participate in the festive concert, which will take place on May 21, at 16:00. Yerevan City Hall will hold the "Victorious Sounds" festival on May 9, from 15:00 to 18:00. The event is dedicated to the 65th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War. Yerevan City Hall informs that <<Yerevan Jur>> company will carry out water pipe laying and valve chamber construction works from April 1 to August 6, ensuring the water supply of the Kentron administrative district of the capital. The works will include Myasnikyan Avenue.

The Government of the Republic of Armenia and Yerevan City Hall plan to implement urban transport programs to improve traffic mobility in Yerevan and reduce the burden on the transport system. The Asian Development Bank provides financial assistance to Yerevan City Hall for the implementation of the following works. It is proposed to implement the following four projects in the near future. On March 18, 2010, at 11:00, the second session of the third convocation of the Council of Elders of Yerevan will take place in Yerevan City Hall. The session is convened in accordance with Article 25 of the Rules of Procedure of the Council of Elders of Yerevan.

This report presents data on the execution of the 2009 budget of Yerevan city. It was compiled based on the provisions enshrined in Article 82 of the Law of the Republic of Armenia "On Local Self-Government in the City of Yerevan". The report presents the performance indicators of revenues and expenditures, as well as their deviations from the program indicators.

In accordance with Article 25 of the Rules of Procedure of the Council of Elders of the City of Yerevan, the first session of the third convocation of the Council of Elders of the City of Yerevan will be convened on February 9, 2010, at 11:00 AM.

Yerevan City Hall and the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Armenia have applied to the bank for financing the Yerevan Metro Investment Program. The entire metro system is in need of rehabilitation. The current program provides one of two phases of the overall investment program. The first phase should include the Priority Investment Program (PIP), which is: rolling stock renovation, renovation of worn track and some components of power supply, acquisition of a technical train and reconstruction of pumping stations. The second phase will include track improvement and resolution of water inflow problems in metro tunnels.

Taking into account the proposals of the heads of administrative districts of the capital, directors of preschool institutions, parents, in order to prevent the flu epidemic, preschool institutions under the jurisdiction of Yerevan City Hall will resume operations on February 1.
