Announcement by the Healthcare Department of Yerevan City Hall Staff and the Armenian Association of Internal Medicine

The Healthcare Department of Yerevan City Hall and the Armenian Association of Internal Medicine invite young doctors to participate in a one-month free training in European countries. The program is intended for involvement in scientific research and the exchange of clinical residents. Participants must be proficient in one foreign language and be full members of the European Federation.

Social monitoring report developed under the Yerevan Urban Development Investment Program (YUDIP)

In accordance with the decisions of the Government of the Republic of Armenia and the agreements signed with the Asian Development Bank, the "Yerevan Development Investment Programs Implementation Office" PNCO is implementing the project for the construction of the highway connecting Admiral Isakov Avenue to Arshakunyats Avenue. Within the framework of this program, periodic reports on the results of social impact monitoring are prepared and presented to the public. The presented report refers to land acquisition for the construction of the Isakov-Arshakunyats road section, processes related to affected persons, and grievance redressal for July-December 2025. On May 13, 2026, at 11:00 AM, the first public hearing on the planned construction of a storage facility by VЕKTOR-A CJSC at the address 70, Haghtanak 1st Street, Ajapnyak administrative district, Yerevan, will be held at the office of the head of the Ajapnyak administrative district of Yerevan. Interested public may submit proposals, observations, and opinions orally during the hearings or in writing within 20 working days after the notification.

A public hearing will be held on April 28, 2026, at 11:00 AM, at the residence of the head of the Kentron administrative district of Yerevan. The hearing concerns the environmental impact assessment report for the construction of M. Nalbandyan Basic School No. 33, planned at Nar-Dos Street 38, Kentron administrative district, Yerevan, submitted by "Zangvats" LLC. Message to citizens regarding the expected wind intensification in Yerevan on April 9-10. Advice is given on how to behave on the street, at home, and while driving in strong winds. It is recommended to follow the announcements of the Rescue Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and, if necessary, call "112".

Dear citizens, we inform you that medium repair works have already started on Saryan and Titogradyan streets. As of today, medium repair works have also started in the section from Anton Kochinyan-Buzand intersection to Abovyan-Buzand intersection.

Dear citizens, in order to increase the passability of transport flows in the capital, traffic management changes will be made on Paronyan Street from April 8 of this year. In 2025, 218795 documents were entered into the electronic document management system in the "One Window" offices of Yerevan City Hall and administrative districts. 132505 documents were entered in the City Hall office at Argishti 1. 217877 phone calls were received at the 1-05 phone number of the call service and support division of the Yerevan City Hall staff secretariat. 28427 applications were entered by citizens into the "Active Citizen" platform. In accordance with RA Government Decision N 1204-N, annual statistical data on the main documents provided to citizens, organizations and other legal entities based on the documents entered into the system are presented. 86290 documents were entered in the offices of the staff of the heads of the 12 administrative districts of Yerevan.

Dear citizens, from April 1 of this year, traffic management will be changed at the intersection of Isahakyan and Tamanyan streets in Yerevan. In particular, the covers temporarily closing the 3.1 'No Entry', 3.18.1 'No Right Turn' road signs and 8.5.4 'Operating Time (11.00-24.00)' signs installed at the mentioned intersection will be removed.

Traffic management changes will be made on Rustaveli Street from March 27, 2026, to increase the throughput of transport flows in the capital. In particular, traffic on Rustaveli Street from the intersection of Rustaveli – Frik Street towards Kond Street 1/3 will be organized as one-way.

From April 3, for 90 calendar days, the road section connecting the intersection of Saralanj Avenue in the Arabkir administrative district: A. Avetisyan - V. Papazyan streets to the intersection of Vagharshyan - A. Avetisyan streets will be closed for major repairs.

On April 17, 2026, at 11:00 AM, the first public hearing will take place regarding the planned activity of constructing a multifunctional public building at G. Lusavorich Street No. 13/1, Kentron administrative district, Yerevan, presented by "MBC" CJSC. Proposals, observations, and opinions from the interested public can be submitted orally during the public hearing or in writing to Yerevan City Hall within 20 working days after the notification. The public hearing will be held at the residence of the head of the Kentron administrative district of Yerevan.

The Yerevan Urban Development Investment Programs Implementation Office, in conjunction with the Yerevan City Hall, is launching the pilot program "Model Yerevan." This is a unique opportunity for young people to see how urban management actually works. Within the framework of the program, participants will discuss real urban issues, meet with industry professionals, and participate in a simulation competition, acting as the Mayor of Yerevan, a member of the Council of Elders, a committee chairman, and in other roles. Young people aged 16–25 who live or study in Yerevan can apply. Application deadline: April 17.
